Ward Ambassadors.

Through building relationships with electeds, the water department, streets and sanitation, and the mayor's office, we have positioned ourselves to pitch the cities’ first comprehensive Urban Agriculture Plan which would put us on par with other large cities who have had this kind of infrastructure for decades (Philadelphia, New York City, Seattle). Our grassroots strategy began by surveying over 400 people and hosting 6 listening sessions to better understand the barriers faced. This helped us identify grower-leaders who have been skilled-up through the ward ambassador program.
