Gina Roxas is the Program Coordinator for Trickster Cultural Center, a nonprofit Native American & community arts center in Schaumburg.

As a citizen of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation in Mayetta, Kansas, Gina has studied the environment through a multifaceted lens of traditional teachings from her Grandmother and family Elders as well as the humanities and science. Her interests are ethnobotany, urban agriculture, and gardening. Gina is also responsible for the Native American garden at Trickster, which our staff had the pleasure of visiting last week!

Gina has recently joined AUA’s Advisory Committee, a group of urban growers & food system activists that will participate as decision makers for the AUA Capacity Building Grant.
